YOU Can Earn: Representative DeMolay & Leadership
Correspondence Course
The Representative DeMolay (RD) and Leadership
Correspondence Course (LCC) are very important for
helping all DeMolays become more knowledgeable about
themselves and about DeMolay.
The Representative DeMolay
(RD) award is the highest award that you can earn. The
Representative DeMolay Award was created by DeMolay
Founder, "Dad" Frank S. Land, to encourage all members
of DeMolay to evaluate and develop a well-rounded life
that is characterized by the practice of the virtues
and values of the Order. To this day, the
Representative is the highest award for
self-achievement that can be earned by an Active
DeMolay.
The Representative DeMolay program is one of
self-evaluation. Members seeking to obtain the award
must evaluate their development in various areas of
life. A detailed and honest evaluation is required.
Those who show progress in all-around development and
a firm understanding of their own strengths and needs
are awarded the high honor of being called a
Representative DeMolay.

The Leadership Correspondence
Course (LCC) is a program designed to increase your
knowledge about DeMolay and the way it works.
It can help you prepare to be a better
leader, have a better term, and understand how the Order
of DeMolay works.
Its broken down into 5 separate
courses covering all the pertinent information in short
segments of 40-50 questions.
The LCC is all open book. You must
have the DeMolay Leadership Resource Guide (DLRG) and a
copy of "Hi Dad" book in order to take the course. You
should have the DLRG already. For a copy of "Hi Dad",
see an advisor, or check it out at the
Smoot Library in King George.
